Accounting Team Lead with German

ZAKRES OBOWIĄZKÓW:

Managing team of accountants with end to end responsibility for GL, AR and AP.
Supporting migration of GL processes from European countries to centre in Poland.
Preparing GL related process documentation (process maps and work instructions).
Month End closing procedures in a timely fashion.
Full general ledger accounting of companies.
Executing Intercompany accounting and Netting activities for the companies.
Preparing and posting the accrual and corrective journal entries.
Producing monthly, quarterly and annual reports required by the region.
Executing fixed assets accounting activities for the companies.
Preparing specifications and reconciliations for the submitted financial data.
Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial reports generated through ERP.
Assisting with the annual audit process.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the R2R function, ensuring that improvements are incorporated in the work routine.
Ensuring robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes.
Executing periodically GL, AR and AP reporting or upon request KPI measurements.
Performing month-end account reconciliations
Providing information to external auditors for year-end audit

WYMAGANE:

Experience in a financial shared service center supporting multiple countries / business units.
Good understanding of end to end Gl, AR and AP processes and associated technology platforms.
Excellent analytical skill. Ability to identify and resolve problems. Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work in culturally diverse teams with many levels of personnel.
Supervise Accountants and Accounting Assistants day-today activities
